Deceit 2 which was launched last year on September 14, 2023 for PC at 9.99$ made it’s debut on console on April 3, 2024 as a free to play game.
Game Summary
Deceit 2 is a horror-themed social deduction game with strategic elements. You can choose to play as one of the “Terrors,” who are demon-like monsters that are hunting down truth-seekers, or as a truth-seeker who must gather clues and survive the map. The Cursed, a third squad that plays just for themselves, are also introduced in the game.
The Truth Seekers have to acquire “Souls” by completing tasks on the map. These Souls enter a common pool from which they can exchange them for equipment and abilities for use in their escape from the mysterious Peddler. The Truth Seekers can only escape once they have accumulated enough Souls to buy the escape key, but Terrors can execute rituals to stop them in their tracks.

The newly released Werewolf DLC and the updated Project Wurgen map are included in the Deceit 2 console version. The Wyrtorn Terror, a werewolf, and the first terror added to the game since its original release are included in the Werewolf DLC. Additionally, The Chemist role is introduced, a neutral Curse that needs to poison every other group member in order to win the Ritual.
Deceit 2’s first season, “Humble Beginnings,” has begun in combination with the console release. Many new skins, loading screens, and unlockables are coming this season.
