God of War Ragnarok Unleashes Valhalla
On December 12, 2023, the free roguelike DLC “Valhalla” will be released for God of War Ragnarok. This new addition promises to deliver a new and an amazing roguelike experience to the players of the game.
As God of War Ragnarok surpassed 15 million copies worldwide since its November 2022 release, this new additional DLC will be a “gift to the fans” for completely free according to Sony Santa Monica.
What's New
Valhalla takes you on a journey where every task offers fresh opponents, settings, and prizes. You waill have to learn Kratos’ weapons and unleash your Spartan fury to progress in the game with increasing challenges. The combat in the Valhalla DLC has been worked to combine the basic game’s core principles with the special difficulties of the roguelike mode.
This journey comes with five different difficulty settings, with more rewards available for more challenging tasks. Valhalla is an independent experience from the main story and can be entered at any point, though it is advised that you finish Ragnarök’s story before moving on.
